रागांजलि पुस्तक श्री गुरबख्श सिंघ जी के कर्मठ एवं व्यवहारिक कार्य का प्रतिफल है, जो कि उत्तर भारत के ज्ञात एवं अज्ञात रागों का समन्वेषण है। इस पुस्तक में दिशा निर्देशों का संग्रह इतना स्पष्ट/बख़ूबी है, जो कि पाठक/गायक के लिए राग परिचय आसानी से समझने योग्य बनाता है। इस पुस्तक में धार्मिक सन्तों अर्थात भक्त कबीर, नामदेव, रविदास, बाबा .फरीद द्वारा रचित एवं सिक्ख ग्रन्थों से ली हुई रचनाओं को मधुरता से निरूपित की गई बन्दिशों का एक अनूठा संग्रह है।
 
लेखक ने इस पुस्तक में 145 से ज़्यादा रागों में 300 से ज़्यादा बन्दिशों का समायोजन किया है, जो कि शुद्ध एवं जटिल शैली में होने पर भी सरल एवं आसानी से समझने योग्य हैं। लेखक ने इस बात का भी उचित ध्यान दिया है, कि बन्दिशों का चयन उचित एवं उनकी लय ताल एवं भाव के अनुरूप हो।

Raganjli is the result of a strenuous and insightful work of Gurbux Singh that explores the known and less known Raags of North Indian Music. This book is a compendium of guidelines that take the reader towards the introduction of the Raags. It contains the hymns of the holy saints like Bhagats Kabir, Namdev, Ravidas, Baba Fareed and the Sikh scriptures put into melodious embodiments.

The author has described not less than 145 Raags woven into more than 300 compositions. They are of a pure and intricate style – yet easy and comprehensible. Due attention has been paid that the hymns chosen are adequate and conform to their rhythms and moods respectively.

रागांजलि पुस्तक के लेखक श्री गुरबख्श सिंघ जी ने संगीत की शिक्षा राष्ट्रपति पुरस्कार से सम्मानित ठुमरी के प्रख्यात कलाकार श्री मोहिंदर सिंह जी से प्राप्त की। सन् 1965 में भारत से इंग्लैंड आकर बसने के बाद भी उन्होंने अपनी संगीत यात्रा निरन्तर बनाए रखते हुए श्री मोहन सिंह मूसापुरी जी और प्राध्यापक श्री यशपाल जी (आगरा घराना) से भी संगीत की शिक्षा लेते रहे। इन्होंने 22 वर्षो तक निःशुल्क सेवाभाव से विद्यार्थियों को संगीत की शिक्षा देते हुए अपने अनुभव और ज्ञान को समृद्ध किया। ये अलग बात है कि आजीविका के रूप में इन्होंने “गणित” विषय चयन किया और यूनिवर्सिटी आॅफ लंदन में गणित प्राध्यापक के रूप में सन् 2020 तक कार्यरत रहे।

Gurbux Singh, the author of Raganjli, was trained under the tutelage of  Mohinder Singh Ji "Thumari'' who was rewarded with 'President Award'. It was in the year 1965 that Gurbux Singh left India for England and continued his passion and quest for classical music and got further 'Sangeet-Vidya' (deep knowledge of music) from Mohan Singh ji Musapuri and Prof. Yashpal of Agra Gharana. He has taught students of vocal music voluntarily for over 22 years. All that has enriched his knowhow and expertise of music considerably. It should not be left unmentioned that Gurbux Singh was a Lecturer of Mathematics at the University of London from where he retired in 2020.
