Farmer-Level Interventions and Grain Management Strategies
About the Book
Dr. Kedar nath Mukherjee, Faculty Member (Finance Area), National Institute of Bank Management (NIBM), Pune
Even though I am not very good at expressing my deep feelings in words for someone very special in my life, I don’t want to miss the opportunity this time, to express my very own version of Prof. R.K. Mishra, our Respected and Beloved Mishra Sir. Mishra Sir is a personality, about whom I am still curious to demystify many things. How come a person of his stature is such down to earth? What makes him so much concerned about each and every person associated with him, irrespective of their capacity? Where does he gets this enormous energy and positivity from, and that also at this age? What makes him to dedicate his complete life for the nurturing and growth of an institute for many decades, possibly with lots of personal and professional sacrifices and adjustments? How a person is ready to take any number of challenges continuously and still remain futuristic and optimistic under any circumstances? What is the secret of his leadership that people get deeply motivated to follow his path? How he maintains his precious health and smile even after managing end number of challenges. Truly speaking, there are lots more..
If I share my own feelings about respected Mishra Sir, I feel proud to say that he is my Guru, Mentor, all time Well-wisher, an important energy booster, a complete Support System to succeed in my academic career. His role has been really indispensable in shaping my academic and professional career. Like many people, it is also very hard for me to accept that Mishra Sir is getting superannuated from his service life. But I strongly believe that he will remain equally active and I will still remain curious to know all the above secrets even after many years. I wish Sir a healthy, active, and peaceful life with lots of happiness, cheerful and memorable moments with his family members and also with all of us for an undefined period.
Dr. Inder Sekhar Yadav, Assistant Professor, IIT Kharagpur
It was a great honour to have met you. I don’t remember meeting such a noble person like you in my life, with such an amazing inner beauty, kindness, generosity, honesty and compassion. You are so good, considerate and caring to the people in your life. You know only to give and give and never expected anything in return. I have never worked for an organization that respected and valued the lives of its employees which I have seen in your leadership at IPE. The work environment was challenging, stimulating, collaborative, positive, and at times felt like a family. In times of difficulty your benevolence, love and affection guided me through. You always stood with me in my difficult times and had been a good philosopher and guide. You have been my biggest inspiration and mentor in my life. You always guided me towards the right path by giving different examples. I deem it a privilege and honour to work under your able leadership. You always kept sharing your vision of success and growth with us. I am sure you will be cherished for your good work and humility by thousands of people for generations. I will forever hold you in my heart. I thank god for giving me an opportunity to meet a person a like you. Wishing you a very happy and healthy life. Thank You!
