Professor Krishna has overseen success-ful completion of over 40 Ph.D. and M.Phil dissertations, covering almost all important branches of economics.
Uma Kapila, author/editor of several books, has taught Indian Economy to undergraduate students for over forty-two years. She recently retired as Reader from Department of Economics, Miranda House, University of Delhi. Presently she is Senior Editor, Academic Foundation. Widely read reference texts edited/authored by her include: Indian Economy Since Independence, 19th Edition 2008-09; India's Economic Development Since1947, 3rd Edition 2008-09; and Indian Economy: Performance and Policies, 8th Edition 2008-09.
