He has taught at the University of Bradford, United Kingdom and was a visiting Professor at Maison Des Sciences de L’ Homme, Paris, University of Technology Mara, Malaysia, Faculty of Economics, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. He is a member of the UN Task Force on Standards of Excellence in Public Administration and Education. He has been a Management Consultant to several organizations including DFID, Deloitte, Adam Smith Institute, ADB and Centre for Good Governance. Prof. Mishra was associated with the UNDP project on Macro Economics of Poverty Reduction carried out by RBI Indira Gandhi Institute of Development Banking and Research. He was a team member of the State Fiscal Restructuring Project of the National Institute of Public Finance and Policy and Vice-President, International Association of Schools and Institutes in Administration (IASIA), Brussels. Prof.Mishra is the Chairman of the Working Group II: Public-Private-Partnership and Enterprise Management constituted by IASIA. He is on the Steering Committee of Network of Asia Pacific Schools and Institutes of Public Administration, Governance supported by the Asian Development Bank and has handled assignments for the Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Power, Ministry of Trade and Commerce, Ministry of Heavy Industry and Public Enterprises, and Ministry of Finance (Department of Disinvestment). Prof.Mishra was also a member of the working group on privatization set up by the International Institute of Administrative Sciences, Belgium. He has been a researcher for the Planning Commission, Finance Commission, Prime Minister’s Economic Advisory Council, OECD, and United Nations University – World Institute for Economic Development Research, International Civil Service Consortium, State Bureaus of Public Enterprises, Financial Institutions and Banks. He was on the Boards of few Public and Private Sector Enterprises. Member of Panel of Experts on Reforms in Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs), set up by the Planning Commission, Government of India; Member, Ad hoc Task Force set up by the Cabinet Secretariat, Govt of India to review the Results Framework Documents (RFD) of the various ministries of Government of India; Regional Vice President, Executive Board, Association of Indian Management Schools (AIMS); Member, Ad hoc Task Force on Memorandum of Understanding, Government of India; Member, Working Group on Review of the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) Guidelines of Central Public Sector Enterprises (CPSEs), Government of India, etc. He is a member of the Editorial Board of many international and national journals published. He has supervised Doctoral Research for several Universities in Public Administration, Management, Economics, Commerce and has taught at the National Management Programme, GoI-MDI, M.Phil and MBA programmes for more than three decades. He had published papers in reputed national and international journals. He has conducted National Conferences on Cyber Marketing (2007), Customer Relationship Management (2008), Customer Oriented Services Management (2009), Modern Retailing (2017), and Management Research in India (2019). He has carried out an AICTE funded research project on Customer Relationship Management. He has completed Consultancy Projects for Karnataka Soaps and Detergent Ltd., HOPCOMS, Karnataka State Agriculture and Marketing Board, Government of Karnataka, AP Rajiv Swagruha Corporation, Mineral Exploration Corporation Ltd., (MECL), Govt. of Assam, Karnataka Evaluation Authority, National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC), Dept. of Prohibition \u0026amp; Excise, Govt. of Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana State Beverages Corporation Ltd. He has carried out 17 Research and Consultancy Projects for different organizations. Presently, he is working on a Research Project on “Whistleblowing as a Corporate Governance Mechanism” sponsored by Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR). He is currently Coordinator (Research) in Institute of Public Enterprise (IPE) looking after and coordinating the various Research and Consultancy activities of the Institute and also coordinating the Institute’s affairs vis-à-vis ICSSR and other Research Agencies. She has more than 15 years of experience widely ranging from industry to academics. She has undertaken consulting assignments for leading State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) of India namely ONGC, OIL, GAIL, GSL, BDL, MOIL as well as State Level Public Enterprises in India. She has worked extensively in conducting impact studies, designing CSR policy and long term plan documents. She leads the Neyveli lignite (NLCIL) CSR Chair activities at IPE. She has also been, involved in coordinating several assignments in the area of HR, which includes conducting, Succession Planning, Manpower Assessment, Performance Management, Employee engagement and Competency-based systems for SOEs. She has been, involved in designing Recruitment and Promotion policies for leading SOEs in India. She has won the Young HR award at the Asia Pacific H.R.M. Congress, 2014. She has several lead studies funded by Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) and Government of India (GoI).
