In 2005, he received Dr. D.T. Doshi Award for best paper presentation by Agricultural Economics Research Association (AERA). As team member, he has been recognised and received ‘Ground Water Augmentation Award 2008’ under the Institution category in the northeast region, bestowed by Ministry of Water Resources, Government of India. He has more than 20 research publications in various peer-reviewed and refereed research journals of national and international repute and has contributed to several technical bulletins, books and other publications.
