India-Korea Dialogue for A 21st Century Partnership
Choong Yong Ahn (Ed.)‚ Pravakar Sahoo (Ed.)
About the Book
India and Korea belong to the major economies of the G-20, which has become a major global economic cooperative entity after the global financial crisis in 2008. Despite these similarities, the two countries have almost opposite factor endowments offering opportunities for more economic and strategic partnership. In this context, the India-Korea Comprehensive Economic Partnership in 2009 is considered a major step to facilitate expansion or opportunities for investments and exchange of services. In this backdrop, the book, which is timely and first of its kind, has made a sincere attempt to cover all aspects of India-Korea relations under three broad themes such as role of India-Korea in G-20 and restructuring global financial architecture; bilateral economic relations; and cooperation for security and strategic challenges. This volume would be a useful read to all those interested in strengthening and learning about the current status of India-Korea relations and future prospects.
